I was awarded Green Lead Fellowship by Greenline which is a non-profit in Mumbai working in the field of environment sustainability. I had chosen a project of evaluating Ocean Wave Energy as a possible green energy source.
For this project, I performed an extensive literature review and studies various Ocean Wave power generation systems. I researched about the engineering, design, technology and sustainability aspects behind each of those systems.
In addition to the research, I also designed an Ocean Wave electricity generation system that utilizes Wales Turbine. It is a sustainable and easy to build system. I designed model of this system, that includes design of it’s Wales Turbines. While designing the Wales turbines, I applied the best engineering and aerodynamic characteristics to the design that I found through research. I designed the whole system using Open Source tools.
